This award will recognise institutions for cards initiative for retail / business customers, in a digital or physical environment.


Best Co-Branded Card of The Year

This award will recognize the best co-branded card that benefits all the businesses involved as well as the customer.


Best Payments System – Consumer / Business

This award will recognise payments solutions for consumers / business that is built on modern technologies, has comprehensive functionality, and delivers clear and measurable improvements to its users. The judges will be looking for a comprehensive description of the offering – its scope and functionality, technology, standout features, and, of course, use cases.


Best Digital Payments App of The Year

This award will recognise the best digital payments app of the year which will offer a great customer experience, convenience and various payment modes to their customers.


Best Spend Management System

This award will recognise the best spend management system that is built on modern technologies, has comprehensive functionality and a fully realised suite of modules, and delivers clear and measurable improvements to users.


Best Payment Experience - B2B / B2C

This award will recognise institutions, technology platforms and solutions that have created and launched an innovative B2C / B2B payment experience. The experience can be a distinct part of the customer payment experience or include the whole end-to-end journey. The judges will be looking for a payment experience or part of an experience that has resulted in tangible benefits for the customer and end-user.


Payments Security & Risk Excellence

The threat landscape, not surprisingly, has kept pace with the rapid growth of digitization. This award will recognize the most innovative security solution that is helping people and businesses keep payments safe, be it through fraud detection and prevention, AML, or protection against various attacks.


Best Payments Business for a Bank

The best payments business of a bank will be judged based on their contribution to overall revenues (as a %) and market visibility based on unique, different products and market/industry firsts.


Best Bank & PayTech Partnership OR Outstanding Payment Industry Collaboration

This award will recognise a successful collaboration between a bank/financial institution and a paytech that has achieved measurable success based on impact and scalability. The partnership should demonstrate benefits to all the partners involved, as well as deliver a viable product/service to the end-user.


Best Innovative Payment Solution

This Award will recognise an innovative payments solution that not only is flexible and secure but also provides a great customer experience while also providing tangible benefits to the business accepting payments. The degree of innovation and disruption to the existing market will also be considered.


Best Cross-Border Payments Service of The Year

This award will recognize best cross border payments solution that consistently offers speed, convenience and reach at an affordable cost and has managed to gain substantial traction over the last year.


Best BNPL Company / Platform of the Year

This award will recognize the best platform based on Customer service, features & benefits, fees & interest rate and the consumer's overall experience.


Best Financial Super app of the Year

This award will recognize the best financial super app of the year which has the ability to provide convenience and simplicity for users and offers a great customer experience and various consolidate services, features and functions of multiple apps into a single app to their customers.


Best Value-Added Services Player

This award looks to recognize a payments player that has leveraged payments data or introduced an adjacent service to add significant value to the business in terms of additional revenue and customers.


Best Payment Processor of The Year

This award will recognize the best payments processor from any processing program or proposition in any part of the payments value chain.


Best B2B Payment Solution Provider:

This award will recognize organizations who with the with the advancement of technology have made Business to Business payments more convenient & secure and are revolutionizing the way in which these transactions are being made.


Best Banking Card Service Provider

This award will recognise a service provider who has excelled in its field, implementing innovative cards and cards technology in organisations during the past 2 years. The judges will be looking for evidence of how the deployment of this company’s services / products has led to an improvement in the overall efficiency of its clients’ operations and has resulted in tangible benefits for the customer and end-user.


Best Payments Industry Newcomer

This award will recognize a visionary start-up (launched in the last three years - launched after April 2021) with a payments product or service which is set to, or has recently had, a significant impact on the sector.





  PayTech SuperHeroes  

Leadership: This award will recognise the contribution of an individual by for playing an instrumental role in the technology strategy and execution at a payments business in a bank/financial institution and going above and beyond their standard role duties. The judges will be looking at his role in the successful implementation of projects and strategies over recent years, as well as his contribution to the overall advancement of the cards and payments landscape.

Founder: This award will recognise an outstanding men for their distinguished leadership and inspiring work as a founder of a payments/paytech-focused companies. The judges are looking at individuals whose endeavours and accomplishments in founding their company, overcoming the challenges, and building up its business.

  SuperSheroes : Women Power in Payments  

This award will recognize outstanding women for their distinguished leadership and inspiring work which has made a positive impact on the payments industry. The judges will be looking for driven, inspirational and dynamic women professionals working in the payments sector and looking to make their mark on the industry.

Nomination Process & Procedure


All nominations filed are researched and thoroughly evaluated by the Advisory Council members to the entire event who personally contact each nominee company to understand their nomination and rank them on a set of pre-decided parameters.

Steps for filling your nomination:

  • Choose the categories you would like to nominate
  • Register your details with us mentioning the categories in which you would like to file in your nomination/s
  • Nomination write – up supporting each category to be submitted in soft copy format along with the nomination fees
  • Deadline for submitting your nomination write-up (10th May 2024)
  • Nomination Costs: The cost of nomination is as follows
    • For Excellence in Payments & Tech Categories – The cost of nomination for each category and multiples thereof is Rs. 20,000/- + GST
    • For PayTech SuperHeroes & SuperSheroes : Women Power in Payments Categories – The nomination for these categories is free

Guidelines for Preparing Write-up – Excellence in Payments & Tech Categories

Your entry / write – up should comprise three sections – the Summary, the Main Entry and Supporting Materials.

Summary : The most important part of your entry is the 500 words (A4 – 1 page) description in bullet form summarizing the key points of your entry. This is very useful to provide an overview for the research agency & advisory council as to why you have chosen to nominate in this category.

Main entry : Your main entry must be to a maximum of 2,000 words (maximum two pages of A4) in the Q&A format outlined below (use the questions as section headings):

  • Brief history about the company, management team and services / products / solutions offered.
  • Describe the product or service for which your company is entering this award category.
  • Work undertaken and success achieved in the past 12 months and plans for the future. Why your company should be shortlisted in the top 3 nominees to compete for this award.
  • What three measurements of success best indicate why your company should win this award finally.
(Kindly note that incase your write-up is exceeding 3 – 4 pages then point no. 1 can be ignored. We do not require a very large write-up as it becomes difficult for the research agency and also the advisory council to go through the same. A crisp and to the point write-up would more than suffice to take this ahead. )
